Recently, pages that should have been on a sister site are sometimes deleted immediately.
They were there until a few days ago, but after a while the posted page is deleted.
Is there something going on? It just says "Not Found" so I don't know why.

Does anyone know anything about this?

 

nearly a full barrel of invisible ink was spilled by a mod on the sister site, work continues to try to find the now invisible posts, but short of a miracle or some of those x-ray specs from the back of the 1950's comic books, authorities say there is little hope for quick and clean resolution of this tragedy.

 

Did you look behind the dryer

 

There was only dust and small debris on it.
Searching for DDG doesn't bring up any page results.
Maybe there was a request to remove it?

If I find something that catches my eye, I'll get it later, so when I find it, I just bookmark it for the time being.
But when I go to look at it again later, the page itself doesn't exist.
So maybe it was deleted because the member who first saw the page reported to the administrator that it was fake data.

I have bad eyes and Illness (although it's not just eyes that are bad), so I find bold text easier to read. Also, it's easier to find my posts in a thread, since not many people write in bold.
Does it bother you? If so, I'll stop it right away.

 

Bold and caps can be perceived as obnoxious, but if it's an accessibility thing your browser may have better options, such as text scaling, different fonts, simplified reader modes etc.

What is DDG? Maybe you're using the wrong search terms.

 

I'm sorry about your illness and all, but yeah, I would change the accessibility settings and other options as said by @ClarSum , as it seems like a general problem on all text, and if I started posting in orange italics just so it was easier for 'me to find my comments', I'm sure I'd find myself on the wrong side of it from omiac and ArticStorm and everyone else you know?

also most browsers have a magnifaction factor. when I run into a shitty font, I just jump up the zoom to 150% or whatever it takes at the moment. my eyes are fine but my go to internet machine is a laptop 14" with 1366x768 resolution, and most sites are built for 1080p these days.

I could use one of my bigger laptops, but then I'd need a bigger coffee table, and then there's the rug and cabling and you know its just easier to push the "+" button on the browser.

good luck, and if you want to make a million dollars, design a software that manipulates the screen to whatever your glasses prescription is, so people can browse the web without wearing glasses. fuck, finally a useful task for AI, somebody get on that pronto....

 

I've been waiting for ages for a simple voice control for my PC and other devices, nothing has happened, but I want to fly to Mars, the promised noise absorber for the windows to reduce outside noise was in the newspaper but it never appeared.

Instead YouTube has introduced advertising, every day you have to solve captchas that are unreadable and there are advertisements everywhere, without an ad blocker you would have to see and endure all the ads. All the propaganda reports about unimportant things like the royal family getting on my nerves.

There was once a film where Mastercard had an advertisement on the moon, the pyramids in Egypt were sponsored by Red Bull, the sugary, bile-filled idiot drink.
