I'm with you on this one, Kinghtsurfer. The only thing keep me halfway sane right now in this brutally stupid life is my music. I always have to wonder how many of histories great musicians/composers/etc. of any genre with extensive music catelogues were really just trying to keep their head on straight while surviving on this Blue & Green Idiot Ball we all live on. My guess is many.
(If I ever obtain peace of mind, I wouldn't mind Shankar's Musical Xanadu Cabin in the woods and superliquidsunshine's Martin 000-28 as well.)
