Guys, can you advise some USB touchscreen to control DAW and Standalone apps in a desktop computer with Windows 7?

Usually I don't do this and I work peacefully at home, but my friends asked me for a few gigs and I don't have a laptop to work in live situation, so I'm stuck. My slim mini ATX is not a problem to carry, but I'm bloody well not working with a mouse and my home monitor during a concert. I'm using Reaper and need some sort of a portable touchscreen to access VSTi-s during live performance, simply just to start the apps and load my banks and patches and fxchains to play, no biggie.

Or is this even possible, since I'm not sure if Reaper and plugins work with touch? I saw on youtube that Reaper can interact with touchscreen, but I'm not so sure about virtual instruments and samplers such as Kontakt. I think, fxchains can come in handy, so I don't need to edit anything and I just quickly load them and play.

As you can see, I was caught off-guard and I'm completely unprepared for this, so if you've ever had a similar experience, please share.

Just in case, I need something not too big and not expensive, since this is just for a few gigs with friends and then I don't think I'll be needing this thing anymore. I'm now looking at Lenovo ThinkVision LT1423p, but 300$ is a bit too much for a simple toy. One can buy a budget laptop for the money. So please advise if you have some other options for this. Thank you!

I find extremely difficult to work with plugins (with lots of areas designed to be operated by a tiny mouse pointer not a big finger pointer) by touching the screen. Somehow it works if you assign parameters to bigger knobs (like macros in massive). But operating from touch screen Ableton Live's interface (and Reaper's for that matter) is going to be challenging. I'll suggest a solid midi controller with all the parmeters mapped instead of a touch screen.

You can see the thing another way , may be, with a cheap Android tablet (around 100 bucks new) and TouchOSC, TouchDAW, Lemur and such.
It will only gives you options WHEN your DAW is already running. So it is more limited, but who knows ?
Another option is using the same tablet as remote for your computer (via Wifi). You will use it as computer screen, with your finger as mouse ;)

jayxflash I have a midi controller. And before anything, I need a screen to access my desktop first, and this I can't do with a midi controller, and then load Reaper and Standalone-s. I'm not gonna work with plugins extensively and do all the editing during the concert, so no worry about pointer skills. I just need a screen to access my desktop, load Reaper, quickly load my pre-made chains and patches and play. Very simple. Then again, solid midi controller costs big money and I think I made it clear this is not worth the costs. It's just a few gigs with friends. Guys, please, if you have really helpful suggestions, then you make them, ok?

pipotron3000 so you say there's a possibility to see and control Win7 desktop from Android device? I shall look into that, thanks.
