I have been getting a lot of porn pops on peeplink. It's not the sister site.

 

So dilemma is should we rename this forum to AudioPorn?

 

I've been getting pictures of chicks on peeplink with come ons about all the hot babes that want to date a great guy like me.
Before you get to the site they ask stupid questions like, "Are you 18 or older?" I answer, NO. "Will you respect the women you date?"...NO. "Do you want a long term relationship?"...NO. Congratulations, you have been selected to enter our premier dating site! I wonder if they actually make money with that BS? Are there guys really that gullable out there?

It most definitely is on Audioz and not just peeplink.
It happens when you first try to login to the site or click anywhere on the screen, even empty space, without even getting to a peeplink yet.
I clear my cache and use ccleaner after every session, or at least once a day, so staying logged to avoid hijacks is unworkable and a bit of a cop out position.

It's a shame this ad hijacking ad shit has to happen, but to porn sites, come on admin man, show some class.

 

Those ad are related to what you visit with your browser, maybe go to porn site with a private session

Personnaly I use Chrome, I don't have ad from the sister site itself (maybe cause I'm registered/logged) but from peeplink, and it's not porn. Also it open the pop up page but keep the screen focus on my peeplink page so it easy to close the ad windows without looking at it (if it's porn and you got a fast internet connection, just turn off the sound just in case).

And sure we're not here to judge, but the sister site is not legal, so you should be aware that it's like going in a spooky street to buy some drugs, you can see stuff you don't want to see, and shouldn't go with your kids. Internet is like real life, you don't want to do illegal thing in real life with your kid around, so don't do it on internet too

 

I don't visit porn sites, so it's really not my fault they pop up.
Audioz isn't an illegal site.
If Audioz are happy ads will go to porn sites, and I don't think they are as they've always been sorted when it's happened before and been reported through here, they should put up a disclaimer warning people that's what might happen.

 

I use AdBlock and also employ a VPN... never see ads OR porn. Advertisements pop up when I get logged off (after computer restart for instance), then I immediately remember to sign in... problem solved.

I got popups like that before clicking from AZ onto AS
i reported it as well ,and more or less got some of the same jokes about it what i did not find helped.
My own kid just walked out of the room when it happent
and i would consider this like yourself a very serious matter.
Best thing to do is fix it your self ,add block + popup addon and no scripts
set the popup addon to block all popups and add the websits you want to block that these popups are comeing from
you will then have to open each link or page in a new tab till you want to log in but it will help.

 

do you ever think about who pays the bills for this forum and sister site , what else then advertisement can be deployed for paying it. or would you all prefer to pay for an "ad free " subscription

As someone already explained, these adverts comes from third party, and mixes different product, from bet sites to porn or what ever. This not into AudioZ control.

 

It's not that bad to see some Porn ADs or ADs redirecting Porn while you're browsing on AS/sister site or making music, if i were you, i would visit those ADs to get creative...

The sister site is a warez site. Ever visit other warez sites? To be honest, the sister site is really "clean" from ADs for a warez site.

But I can understand that you dont want your kids to see ...
And it can be distracting if the AD is lets say "interessting" ...

Like mentioned you could setup a second browser - Chrome, Opera, Firefox etc to visit just "your" sites. Turn on a Pop up/Add blocker and turn off scripts.

 

As has already been explained, that's a cop out answer. Of course it's in the owner of audioz control. No one is forced to have redirects on their web site, especially when they go to porn ads.
Look, if that's how it's gonna be, then fine. Shame it's come to that sort of shit, but like I said, it's about class.

From what I understood it's not directly in the hands of SAiNT, as the advertisers serve the content without restriction or any screening.

What can be done however, is to inform the advertisers of potentially dangerous ads and those are then blacklisted. It has been done many times in the past. Just report the ads' URL to him.

 

all this vitriol over advertisements. the solution has been given to you multiple times in this thread, but some of you still want somebody else (i.e. saint) to fix your problems for you. take some personal responsibility, and fix the problem yourself. be a pirate, but have a little class.

 

Always thought it was no different from all the other totally legit warez websites I visit (other than having a somewhat limited selection of warez, that is).

Next you'll be asking me to choose between endless porn popups & paying a monthly fee to use DuckDuckGo.
