Why is it these days when I click on links on Audioz it sometimes takes me to porn sites? Got a kid now and now I think twice before clicking. What's going on?

first of all - this site is not audioz. audioz is a warez site. this is a site for musicians.

second - the ads that you are referring to are not being generated by audioz. when you click on a link, it is taking you to peeplink. peeplink is not in any way connected to audioz.

third - you can easily avoid the ads by doing two things: 1) install a good adblocking plug-in for your browser like ublock origin. 2) register an account with peeplink, and stay logged in.

 

The title of your thread is misleading... There is no porn here, nor at audioZ, and it's all in caps.
I'm sorry, but I have to correct it.

Are you registered to peeplink ? This would limit the advert quantity.

For me, the ads are still opening even with uBlock + Disconnect. The only way I found around them is to stay logged in.

 

Of course, you have to be logged in to minimize adverts.

 

I never saw an ad on Audioz nor on peeplink

I use NoScript, customized + uBlock + Ghostery= all the bad time wasting things gone. Never seen porn here, or there, regardless though. Taking a peek eh?

Last time I checked they both had the same administrator. Plus, making a site mandatory for linksharing that runs malicious and/or porn ads is also a decision made by a person in charge. Therefore, this is the right place for this discussion. imo.
Nobody likes a whise guy. Also imo.

 

What's going on? A lot of hypocrisy!
Stop using warez-related sites in front of your kid (because it's wrong!) and your problem will vanish..

Although IMHO watching the afternoon crime TV series (where they cut, shoot, dismember.. people) or watching the evening news.. (not to mention the videogames this days) will be much more damaging to your kid than seeing a pair of boobies..

I don't mind the porn adverts, but I do mind the viagra ones. :trying to keep straight face:

 

Don't deprive your kid of his/her own natural rights.

Does porn somehow disturb your mixing process?
If yes try plugin from Waves DePornizator.
It kills every person that engaged in that brutal deal and depart them into hell!

so where are audio wares adverts on porn sites?))
for example, Pro Tools on Porn Tools dot com (occassionally).. R****r on Rape dot com (occassionally)...B**wig on Bigfag dot com...
huh...what if pornfans will become great producers and musicians and engineers with legit software adverted on their favourite porn sites?
