After a number of teasers, Polyend have finally released all the info on their latest device called Tracker, a sampler and sequencer that channels the scrolling top-down workflow of 1990s Tracker DAWs, and packs it into a handsome piece of hardware with an enormous full colour, hi-res screen.

In an age where the workflow of making electronic music seems well and truly solidified into horizontal, piano-roll style sequencing, Polyend are keen to throw a spanner in the works and get musicians thinking differently.

Packed on board this unit is:
    • a full sampler, with line or microphone inputs, sample slicing and fx
    • FM radio for sampling directly from live-to-air broadcasts
    • a granular synthesiser
    • a wavetable synthesiser
    • micro-SD card saving/file transfer, (16GB card included)
    • USB-C power
    • Performance mode lets you creatively break, mangle, and augment your patterns when playing live.
    • Step Sequencer and song arranger
    • MIDI in/out
All inputs/outputs are 3.5mm jacks, but fear not — Polyend include a 3.5 mm to 2 x 6.3 mm break-out adaptor, Minijack to MIDI DIN adapter, a USB‑A power adapter and even a MicroSD to USB-A Adapter.

Pre-Orders are online at very a strong price point – US$599, get all the info here.
