I've ordered 98 Polyend keyboards for my symphony orchestra.

 

For me, that'd be the whole point of having this keyboard.Just for cases where I don't feel like dragging my MIDI keyboard to the fore-front.

As far as the Keyboard Virtual MIDI keyboard in Reaper (which is obviously a nice feature) honestly, that's probably all someone like me would really need, and I'm not sure how much more handy this Polyend keyboard would really be. I envisioned it as an easy way to just quickly swap between typing and MIDI controls for when I'm scrolling through presets, testing how they sound.. but really Reaper's virtual MIDI keyboard is likely no worse an option for this. Maybe saved me some $. LOL

 

I loved the looks, but it's probably going to be priced above $100 which is a no-go for me, unfortunately

 

I sure hope that weird blank key next to the backspace also serves as a backspace if not in keys mode. otherwise this is not something I could ever use, and even if so, I have questions about how usable it is

 

The question is: Will it be possible to play things like this? (Because it was possible with Prodikeys.)

 

This! Exactly this! I was like "hm.. wow.. cool... or stupid?... or cool?"
No, honestly, it's a great idea. I have some controller boards near my mouse to have quick access to parameters of the selected track.
That thing would safe a little space. Thumbs up from my side.
//edit// uhhh, now I get the idea with the F-Keys.. It's not a Keyboard with a Controller, it's a Keyboard with a Controller plus a Keyboard. That's even better.

This is ok, but I really miss my prodikeys. If some company decides to produce an updated version of prodikeys with USB and asio support I'd buy it in a second, and I bet many others would also.
