Poke Ball Noise I keep Hearing In Pop Songs

    time at 37 seconds in

    The weird explosion opening up sound hits when snare hits,





    sound at 1:54 seconds in

    Similar sound layered in, after the 4 kicks

    Anyone know any omnisphere presets or instruments in logic that are close to this sound.



    I should just sample the first few seconds of a poke ball opening

    sounds for like an 80s drum machine snare. (cant remember which drum machine had such a sample?)

    Yeah, it's just regular impact sounds (they are not even alike). You can use any sound + noise and splash them in reverb.
    Or look for samples in the folder named "impacts" (in sample packs that have them).

    Snare/clap/noise shot with resonance mids/highmids areas and long reverb, a lot of WET than DRY. Or some kind of submarine sonar with such reverb (not ping, not bling, not peep, but kokh sounding)
    Impact fx as well.
