    Point of View Has Been Declared Bankrupt

    News has reached us that an old partner in the graphics card and electronics industry has filed for bankruptcy, yesterday (2016.11.25) Point of View was declared bankrupt in the Netherlands. A lot of people in Asia, EU and South America will be familiar with the Point of View branding under Point of View on-line.

    TL;DR only a subsidary company of POV went bankrupt. The hardware manufactorer is still in business.

    BTW... I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with all this, but bankruptcy doesn't mean that you're penniless or anything. It just means you decided it was more practical to pay a couple thousand dollars in lawyer's fees than tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt. I do this shit at work all the time. I have a sneaking suspicion that someone worked very hard to stigmatize bankruptcy, because it's completely innocuous.

    i did heard of them, and i actually own few of their cards, they are specialized in low-end-cards, for the non-gamers people, who appreciates when their systems have their own dedicated card... usually pro people who wants multi monitor setups and stuff like that...

    anyway i was wandering when this will happens i kinda predicted it cause they went the same road as "Nokia" and they didn't change...

    Hmm. They don't say anything on their website about that.But when you see the NEWS section contains just two articles, one about Android 5.1 and one how to upgrade to Windows 10 ... the company has the finger on the pulse of time :wink:
