Recently I bought a new mac and installed all the plugins needed.but some of them are not showing in effect and instrument dropdown menus.tried checking plugin manager both plugins are successfully validated.

I have this issue with output arcade (k'd) and melodyne in logic.but when i open ableton live both of them work perfectly (au).

    Running bigsur with m1

Have you checked (at the official site) if the plugins are compatibel ?
Have you tried starting Logic in Rosetta mode ?
Soundtoys wasnt showing for me until i switched logic once to rosetta mode and then back :)

I have a few like that and ignore them too. have you tried to code sign any of these, or batchmod/permission reset any of this stuff?
I don't have an m1 but it seems like there is some missing info here for someone who tries to help

First time when i opened flare version i got developer cannot be verified error.then i dequarentined and codesigned it.then it showed up in plugin manger in logic and verified successfully but its not visible in au dropdown menu (no output folder). But standalone works well.also ican use plugin with ableton live without any of these issues.

I am a newbie to this forum so please let me know if i missed some info.

I had some permission issues with serum and trackspacer. I fixed them with batchmod but this is different this plugin works well with other daws except logic pro.

Thanks every one for helping.i decided to stick with ableton live:winker:.I wanted to try out logic because i heard that its better for mixing and native supported on m1. but it seems better to use ableton . The only issue i have with ableton is slightly higher cpu usage. Let's hope they will release a native version soon.

wait a minute. you can't get logic to work? joking. there is no way a few plugins would dictate my daw (especially ones I did not pay for). I would find other plugins, not the other way around. Especially with Logic's stock plugins being as good as they are, if it's what you want to run as your main daw. You can also always find some workaround like Patchworks, etc.

there is no way I'd buy an m1 Mac and then not run Logic. It is "way too much software" for $200. Here's something to consider. If one of these plugins is "must run" but never automated anyway; you can always offline process the audio in whatever external wave editor you link in Logic. Your plugins will probably work in Wavelab or Soundforge too. js

Hey Clone thanks for the advice:bow:.but i was using live for about three years.recently bought a new mac beacuse they were stable and i like those aethetics.I just wanted to know if logic is better for mixing cuz live had less advanced mixing capabilities. Hey and it is! Logic is great for mixing i like it's interface too.it's friendly for 200bucks it's pretty much unbeatable.Maybe i will use it for mixing my music while producing with ableton.
Or perhaps logic as my main daw.I will definitely use it next few weeks.if it fits me definitely gonna buy it. Thanks again for your help:like:
