I use rapid methods to develop new ideas and my focus is on the melody and harmony notes, not musical instruments. The arranging comes afterwards, it's just the way I do things.

He could always grab a tronical tuner. I personally used one for a bit several years ago and it worked fairly well (it can change tunings super fast and accurately), but there was definitely a learning curve to it and I had too much time between playing. I'd always forget the button combos to switch tunings, so I got tired of it and just did it the old fashioned way with normal tuning pegs. LOL

Having different guitars with different tunings seems like the best way to go if he's gigging though.

They will not show up on the Sister Site Mac feed, because they are Windows software being run on a Mac. Crossgridder is Crossover with an Audiogridder instance running inside it (like a very minimal VM of Windows). Audiogridder is loaded in Logic as a normal plugin, but then it connects to the Audiogridder instance which is hosting the Windows plugin. Not all plugins will work, as some of them are VM protected or have other issues. There is a large list of those confirmed to work and not to. 10+ Neural DSP are on the list as working.

You didn’t mention any specific alternate tunings you use, however, do a search on “spider capo” and take a look. There are also a variety of specialty capos that might be of interest.
