I have installed electrax multiple times on mac systems but this time it didn't go as I hoped. The plugin works fine in FL but when I try validating inside Logic I get this weird error message. Does anyone know a solution?

Here are my specs: I am running Mac OS Big Sur and the logic pro version I have is 10.6.1

    error message:

    Try this
    Open terminal
Paste in this: sudo codesign -f -s -
    Open Finder
go to Library application audio components
look for the electrax.component or something like that
drag it into the terminal and hit enter
enter your password and you should be all good.

You might need to install x code using xcode-select --install in terminal

    The above code is wrong!
There needs to be a space after the last dash.
Always best to quote in a <code> box so a newb can just copy and paste the code.

Okay, so just open Terminal and type that in making sure there is a space after the last dash, and then drop the plugin into Terminal after it.
You might have to hit return, I can't remember.
Just remembered there's also Force Deep Sign too which is:
    Code:
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -
And you do the same in Terminal with that. Try this if the first one doesn't work.
The system does need to have an element of xcode installed to do this, but not the whole package.
Notice, when you double click on the code, the space after the last dash is at the end for you too.

And the only other tools I can arm you with, are two small apps/bits of code that are called batchmod and permissions reset.
Somebody did post links to them in a thread that's around here somewhere, but you should be able to do a general internet search and find them. They're nothing dodgy or illegal, they just run a few things as Terminal would and will sort out stubborn plugins! haha.

With all these 4 bits of knowledge I've said, you're usually good all the time.
