Hey guys, I have the PA Bundle from R2R, just bought bx_ober synth for 19.99 ( thank you so much Polomo) how can I make the two co-work together without a bomb or any problems?

@Donald Glover, You have to save your licence (No Legit) on an external drive and the legit one on your system Disk

Actually, it's the opposite. Save your legit license on USB stick, and non-legit on your system drive. This way you are safe to avoid conflicts.
R2R mentioned it their previous PA release.

Ive seen a lot of PA sales come and go in the last months. I am only waiting for 9000J to be in sale.

PA is slowly entering the Waves realm of meaninglessness with too many new plugin releases in small release windows… they should be more careful about what they put out…

    Thanks for posting this!
bx_cleansweep Pro and bx_meter look like the best free deals but I grabbed G8...I'm a sucker for a good gate.

Maybe R2R said this was how it should be done, but I prefer to do it my way and it works great.
I prefer to have the official license on my computer and the unofficial one on an external usb stick.
It's much easier to validate new plugins online, but if you prefer to do it in a more complicated way, why not !!!
And it works very well, I confirm :bleh:

BTW, if you want an unusual EQ which creates some interesting and unexpected colors for busses, get Lindell TE-100 for 29,99. It's inspiring

    Something Mastering related it seems…
Brainworx is working on something similar…
looks like a head to head battle.
In this case I roll with bx_ I dont like slates approach to installation, licensing, updating and marketing.

I like that Dirk from brainworx uses mixes send in by users to develop and test the new plugin. I mean everybody can master a prestinely recorded and professionally mixed track and call it a day. Taking this approach of sent in mixes by users deserves some credi I think.

Should I get the SSL E channel or G
Should I get Thorn of Bx Oberhausen...

    Decisions.

I have both and I like em both. I tend to use g for hip hop more because of the ":3" function on the blue knob which is great for kikcs and the g also it has a wider range of dbs +/-18 instead of +/-15 db. I use the ssl for sculpting not for precision. The G is considered more in your face, mid rangy rock-ish while the E is considered to be smoother. s from the other one.

Thorn is the more versatile and modern synth.

I couldnt get any interesting sounds out of bx oberhausen besides the presets. Everything sounds kind of similar. It's a one trick pony limited to the sound of an era. I bought it cheap and still think it wasn't a good deal. I rarely use it. And creating own sounds is no fun. The oscillators behave kinda weird if you dont know how to operate them. At some point I was wondering, why I couldn't hear the second osc at all all so I had to refer to videos and the manual to get it and I already forgot at this stage. :D
