I'm a Plugin Alliance fanboy, but even I have to amit they've been releasing quite a few gimmick-y plugins in a row lately.

Kinda worried about the direction they've been taking after being bought by Native Instruments.

Which ones would you say have been gimmick-like?

Definitely bx_enhancer and TBTECH Cenozoix, but AMEK 200 doesn't really add much to their pre-existent excellent catalog of channels strips and Kiive Audio XComp does't seem like a huge leap from the previous Xtressor to justify a new name and a slightly different GUI.

Oh, you meant PA as a whole. I thought you were referring to ADPTR; but they really do not have that many plugins yet. Metric A/B and Sculpt are both nice, and Streamliner is ok, if not redundant. I thought maybe they snuck some new ones out under the radar.

Guys I can honestly tell you I use Metric AB but my plugins of choice these days are STL ControlHub Kirschoff EQ UAD reverbs, Bobclearmountain delays and reverb UAD EQs and compressors... I have a subscription with PA but more and more I just start with STL Control hub and I am happy at the end.

Oh no, ADPTR is cool lol. I really, really like Streamliner, it's nice being able to listen how cappy my covers will sound on social media before posting them

Since I don't create music anymore (not since I left my metal band many years ago), tools like ControlHub seem a bit overkill for my simple needs. Even so I have a shit ton of compressor plugins installed, which probably contradicts what I've just said lol.
