So the guy(s) from Ploytec have created a new Harmonics Enhancer/Saturation Plugin called Aroma. It has 4 Bands (Salt, Pepper, Sugar & Chili) and can work in Stereo and M/S Mode. It's endorsed by well known German Mastering Engineer Andreas Balaskas who also had input into the plugin development. It's loosely based on the Crane Songs HEDD, simulating a triode, pentode and tape stage for adding analog flavor to a signal. The demo video sounds really nice. No overhyped bs.

Hands on and Interview (in German):

    About the Salt/Pepper/Sugar/Chili Metaphory

    "Salt:
Though salt is essential for life in general, it doesn’t mean it’s always necessary to add more, plus, be aware it’s easy to oversalt. The salt effect adds an adjustable structure of even and odd order harmonics. Like on all modules, its sound depends on signal level.

    Pepper:
The world’s most traded spice describes Aroma’s most important steerage. It focuses on odd order harmonics and offers different musical colours, adjustable via the flavour control. Pepper makes your material bold and luxuriant. Attention: Overdoing makes it scream!

    Sugar:
Here’s the sweetness and fatness of analog tape. Sugar adds dimension without the flutter. Its compression is frequency depending and its character is adjustable from rock candy to wild honey. Be careful: It’s sticky!

    Chili:
This pepper is intense. Its Scoville heat rating can go up to actually millions and it makes your music hot as hell and delicious as heaven. Adjustable structures of odd harmonics on fiery scales."

All this "Foreigners", "Heritage", "Blood" talk – why? Maybe you should just get off of the Internet and try to claim trademarks for Pizza, Pasta and Crema instead.
