Anyone who has this problem with plex not showing any thumbnails for local files anymore? Most new added local videos (not movies) show as an empty black square.

Im not talking about the preview thumbnails when you forward a video. Its the "poster" or simple icon with a small thumbnail that is not created for my local files (mostly music videos, mp4s from youtube etc)

This problem is only with my own mp4 videos. Not with regular movies/series, those look fine.
its super weird, it used to work fine until 4 months ago

pls no links to manuals internet posts etc, ive seen it all, i would like to hear from anyone with some actual suggestion idea, speculation or experience.
