Then again, occasionally, people need to be reminded about....
    Creative uses of such things...

Shit!! I guess I was wrong, I thought all good music came from loops. Oh well back to making original stuff

hmm i like really some foreign loops - like the "HexLoops Arabic Percussions Loops" these types of loops are so rare ...
then i really like the Earth Moment Voice Of India
i mean it has to be something special that force me to download samples/ Loops
and so far i find it ok if they bring us these stuff better as no updates ...
i agree with Kookaboo here it keeps audioz updated which is really impoartant for a "warez" page!
so stop whinning and ignore the packs if u dont find them useful!

    Happy Night :dancing:

Everyone has valid points but it comes down to what you actually do with them and what kind of music your making (imo)

I am personally into deep house, tech house and a little bit of techno. Guys like Hermanez, Carlo Lio, Dj Simi, Jimpster and Tony Lionni to give you an idea. I agree that coming up with your own sounds and creating your own libraries are what makes your sound unique. But sometimes depending on your skill level with your daw you can really turn some of these loops into your own sound. Of course the majority of the stuff is garbage, again my opinion only BUT there are a few from time to time that are proper sample packs to make quality music if you make them your own.

I would never get a loop and just drop it in my track. That would be artistic suicide to me. So with that said i do like them and please uploaders continue with the good ones.

Checkout these vids as they break down how to make them your own. I do this technique frequently and you could never tell where they came from

Take the Loops off the front page then someone else will come and complain about too many Massive patches. Take Massive patches off the front page, somebody else would come and complain about Ableton packs... Out of here with that nonsense. Like the old little saying goes: "Nobody's ever satisfied". Sh*t, even when they are getting these stuff for free, somebody else doing the hard work to upload massive gigabytes of stuff, they are still complaining.
The complaints about Tutorials? well that one just killed me dead. As if everybody in here should be Mozart or something. I can't understand anybody who's against education.
Anyway... let's see what's the next SoundsToSample pack has in it, shall we? ;)

As long as we do not know about the quality of your music your comment is rather insignificant.

I sometimes use construction kits for learning purposes, or to get a glance at a genre I normally wouldnt listen to, and I haven't lost the ability to get inspired even by construction kits (though I wouldn't use them to construct a track for publishing).

But haters have to hate, right?

I like loops and samples (and so does my wife.. :guitarhero: )

You can't make a (serious) track just with loops. Hmm, maybe with construction kits, but this is "Magix Music Maker" alike, and you can't call yourself producer.

However, I love several packs, because it gives me instant ideas about thing. Also just "top loops" can be handy. Why making every drumloop for myself new instead of using existing good ones? Furthermore, take a slicer, put in a drumloop, make your own remix.

Thread opener: If you're searching plugins, use search. THAT EASY. If you don't find it - it's not cracked.

THAT MEANS YOU HAVE TO BUY IT THEN.

using loops are like making a cover or a remix. you have not made it on your own.

It's a beginners mistake to try and make everything from scratch. Being creative with loops is hard.

All anti loop posters...post your music....i bet it sounds crap...

There are very talented people who can just take a small element of a song and make a fantastic 'remix' out of it.

Of course those people have better to do than hang around here wasting time...

better to make good music with some loops than making bad music with loads of (stolen) expensive synths and plugs.. it's all a matter of creativity and imagination and selectivity and...... time.

but of course I don't have to own all these dirty south or electro house construction kits out there (=> time) :(

    that sounded very logical. not...

two songs that i'm working on

    http://dl.dropbox.com/x.mp3

    http://dl.dropbox.com/x.mp3

it's my guitar, my bass, my voice. polykb, mtron-pro, superior drummer (will record real drums later) and the rest only built in logic plugins (i try to only use them)

i don't want to show my finished song because i'm soon releasing them on a label...

i'm not saying you don't need talent. i'm saying that you are not making the song on your own. somebody else made that loops right?
do whatever you want. but personally it would feel like i'm not making my own music if i use loops.

sounds like a kind of (alternative/) post rock.
junius meets dredg meets mogwai meets... really nice! in my opinion a little too much stereo width, could need some more concentration in the center..

the John Murphy track is fantastic! nearly as good as the whole Clint Mansell stuff (requiem for a dream, the fountain, moon...) ... I really love this contemporary cinematic style.
