yah its coming soon. I would not be surprised if somebody is currently training a model based on code.

 

GitHub (= Microsoft) has an AI trained on code - it's not been particularly helpful though. Last time I fed it a C++ problem, it started talking back to me in Japanese... the AI equivalent of my four year old sticking his fingers in his ears and making up his own language to pretend he can't understand me.

 

chat gpt will walk you through the whole process. just ask the right questions.

As a programmer I've realized nice VB/PHP scripts using ChatGPT, but you have to supervise what it generates.

Probably a better investment of your time to generate oodles of cash would be to learn to cope with humanity and try and embrace it. Seriously there's a lot of history of people making billions of dollars out there by actually providing a real service to human beings and not chasing the latest flashing light like a dog on a freeway. Good luck with AI, but trust me - if life was that easy you could ask a dumb question on a forum and get the answer to how to become rich, I'd say you are a bit late to the party.

 

So that I could participate in this thread I went to a bar last night, stood on a table and in my loudest voice asked if there was a guy named Al in the joint, and if he was that he would have to do my boring drudge work for free on demand any time that I bade him to do so. The fellow that answered my calling walked up to me and punched me straight in the nuts, spit on my crumpled body on the smelly bar sawdust floor as I lay there curled up in agony, poured his beer on my head and told me the next time that I came in that he "would fucking kill me".

Al is a big fucking asshole and someone to be avoided at all costs. I learned my lesson the hard way...now you'all please learn from my experience.

Anyway it still summarized - after the manual re-prompt of resources' URLs - the "Key Optimizations from Each Guide" quite correctly.

In other words: generative "AI" (LLM, in this case) can support your work, but it cannot (yet) replace your skills.

 

btw, AI made music sounds shit. Its shit. Also no artistry behind, more shit. Also it feeds on all the music artists made, regurgitates garbage and gives no royalties back whatsoever... and the public will go for that... see what happened in visual arts, design, illustration.... more shit. Shit.
