Hey, I've been trying to get Spitfire Albion Solstice and Albion ONE working for weeks now, to no avail. I would super appreciate some assistance. I'm on Mac Monterey, running Kontakt 6.7.1 (I've tried other versions, and got the same results).

When I try adding the libraries via the Kitty or the bobdule scripts, I get:

Same story with Albion ONE. I've also tried adding with 5.6.0, but that doesn't seem to work either.

They show up in the Kontakt sidebar, but whenever I try loading a patch up, I get the error message: ""X.nki" could not be loaded. The file format is not supported or corrupt." Fiddling with xmls in service centre and all the other usual solves just isn't working.

Tried attaching a .nicnt file, but can't seem to, so I'll just paste the text here:

Try to reinstall first (clean), coz only a kontakt expert from here can help you, but they usually are afk.

 

in native access.xml, it say version 2, not 1.
try to make the nicnt matching.

Thanks for the response. Just tried this, but unfortunately I'm still getting the error message. I think I'm just going to have to chalk this one up as a loss and move on, honestly. I've lost literal hours to these cursed libraries!

 

What are hours for? And how many others have you 'lost' ?

not to open another can of worms, but I couldn't get devastator to add, had similar errors. then went to the "kontakt wallpapers" thread and asked REALLY nicely for a nicnt from celtic3342 and he uploaded a nicnt and it worked with kitty script(just get the wallpaper png in the thread and ask nicely for an nicnt). tbh tho I rate Albion one is doable but dno about Albion solstice cuz its so new.. best of luck.

 

To be careless is one thing, but to be careless and timeless is another. But point taken: I suppose we never know which hours were wasted.
