so i've looked everywhere for some help and i guess nobody has a mac so im starting my own thread.

How In the World Do I Install These Waves Plug-Ins and How Do I Open Them To Use Them on MAC/OSX?

i've used tons of different 'complete' files and they all end up being practically the same in four parts.....

ive gotten as far as finishing the offline installer.... but i dont even if i chose the right directory or did any of the previous steps before that correctly.

i must be doing something wrong or maybe i'm just bad at this or the instructions arent specific enough. Please Help. im prepared to answer any questions. Thank You Very Much To All <3

 

Copy installer folder to desktop
Run offline installer and choose the packs you want to install
Copy k'ed file over the original (shortcut to the right location of "modules" in the k'ed dmg pack)
Run the au reg utility in applications/waves/waveshellsv9 folder
Then open a daw and try to run one of the waves plugs on one of the channels strips in the daw

 

whenever i try to open up Waves AU Reg Utility it says "You cant open application" because it may be damaged or incomplete

What Should I Do Now?

 

That is odd. I'd reinstall from scratch and try again. Maybe it is damaged.

 

thank you so much for all your help <3 i just have one more question: why do they usually come in four parts? should i be moving the installers from each part into the desktop.... or do i just move one (thank you again, i dont understand much of this)

 

The installers are in 1 folder don't take them out. The Waves Central app goes in applications folder.
First thing you must install Little Snitch and block Waves from calling home.
Or unplug your internet.
Drag just the installers folder to the desktop.
Drag the Waves Central app to the desktop or apps folder.
Double click the Waves Central app. Do not update.
Do an offline install.
Select the Installers folder on the desktop.
Select what you want to install.
Drag the WavesLicenseEngine.bundle to the Modules folder.
Go to the Waves folder in applications.
Open it and open WavesShells V9
Double click Waves AU Reg Utility 9.6.app and you've registered you plugs.
Start your DAW and see if they work.
Remember it's Waves Complete V9 macOS (dada) or it won't work.

 

it won't located the Waves 9.6 plugin-ins folder . i go to App-> waves> Plugins-ins 9.6 and nothing

App is not damaged. It is Gatekeeper that must be turned OFF ;-)

 

so whats the point of downloading all four parts of if you only have to use one part?

OK maybe a miss understanding here. The Waves is a .dmg file which opens a folder that contains everything you need.
If you have a 4 part .rar or raw unzipped files you must open them into the .dmg file.
I'm not sure how savvy you are at this so being that I can't see what you have take a snap shot of your files and post it here.
That will take the guess work out of this and save us both a lot of time. PM me if you can't figure it out.

Make a waves account, login an download online than apply licence.

 

May be issue is in the download file. I used from Waves 1o for Mac Free Download and it worked fine. Try downloading again because different versions of Waves 10 are available.

Hi guys i'm having trouble finding my waves plugins in my pro tools hd 10.3.10. i installed it properly and everything went fine untill i opened my daw and i couldn't find my plugins on the list. I'm currently using mac osx 10.11.6 el capitan.

Waves Complete v9 (2018.03.14) mac os [dada]

just don’t know how to do the steps after the offline install
