I am currently running windows 10 on my PC. I have installed and mounted everything with ommnishere, ran the data updater, and patched the proper .dll files. My problem is that both times that i have installed omnisphere i have gotten the same problem of my response code being rejected. It finally stopped crashing when i tried to paste it and now it is just flat out rejecting my response code (I am using the R2R Keygen, by the way). Can somebody please help me out here? I'm pretty desperate to get this running and also keep in mind that i am a bit of a noob when it comes to DAWs. I am using FL Studio 12, btw.

just keep trying. also make sure you are up to date on all the patches. i know it crashes on me 3 times every time i have installed it before it works. you can run the standalone to register it as well i believe if there is a standalone exe then it should work in the DAW

 

i can help you if we can use teamviewer , also try run fl 12 with admin rights

 

im still confused by exactly what you mean running standalone. are you talking about the keygen? if so how would i run it like that?

 

There are two fixes eader run fl studio as administrator then load in omnisphere to in-put the serial or you can use a standalone vst host to start-up omnisphere to in-put the serial.
The error most users are getting when using fl studio and omnisphere for the first time
is that omnisphere needs to wright a .dat file to store the key and without adding
administrator rights when starting fl ,omnisphere will keep asking you for a serial,
The vst host can also work around this as you are asked to run it as administrator by default,

kevsudan.. if you need help then maybe you would be better of than not highlight a "Best Answer" since atleast i thought you fixed your problem.

Anyhow, as statet in just about every "PROBLEMS WITH OMNISPHERE" post in here (goes for Keyscape, Trillian aswell) is that the user has messed up when installing. Some has not installed what is needed, some has just installed the upgrade to Omni 2 and therefor missing vital files for it to work. Same goes with what disc version on disc number one. If i recall it right it should be the r2r proper version that should be used. Can be the other way around but that maybe someone else could inform you on.

Once installed you need to patch the VST.ddl files. Here its importent that you know where to have them installed or know how to search for the files. Once patched you should be able to get your respons code accepted. And even if some say you need to install all updates (note. not upgrade) i know that if you have things where they should be it works with just the latest one. Im e legit user myself so i cant really tell you any history or what the latest version you should use is.

Just make sure you have Steam folder where it suppose to be. If you run it from a second disc make sure that its not write protected and you have full rights on it. If Win10 has put the folder as write protected there are fixes for that even if it actaully was a little bit of a mess to do it in early win10 version.

I also think there was an issue with FL and omni even for legit users but there is a fix for that aswell. I read that somewhere but im sure its up an a FL forum or something. Hope you solve it and once you got it up and running go legit.. its so worth it...

EDIT: DIdnt see momos post on the FL Issue but there you have it if that is your problem..

I opened omnisphere in Savihost, but now im not sure how to get open it in fl studio? can you help me out also i did not ask for a response code?

 

Hi what can you now see when you load in omnisphere in fl studio
its the same way you loaded it in the first time or did you move omnisphere ?,
if its a black and blue screen with wrighting click on it and omnisphere will open
thats the about screen,if not give us as much info as you can ok

The same thing is happening where it won't accept my response code. It opened fine in the Savihost or whatever it is called but when i try to open it on the channel rack it still refuses to accept my code. *I am running it in administrator btw*

 

did you use discover version? did you use the proper r2r disc 1? Is it up to date?

It sounds like the version your opening in fl studio is not patched
and the version that your opening in Savihost is patched,
search for all omnisphere dll in your two plugin folders they could be here.
C:\Program Files\VstPlugins
C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins
moved them to your desktop and repatch them with the keygen ,you can also rename the x64 version found in
C:\Program Files\VstPlugins to omnisphere x64 so you don't get it mixed up with the x86 version. open fl studio rescan your plugins and make sure omnisphere is gone from the list
then move the plugins back to your plugin folders
rescan your plugins again and when it opens it should be working.
