What do you mean?

Subscribing to all those plugins is terribly expensive and not a smart financial move.

On the other hand, the use of cracked software is not necessary: perfectly fine commercial releases can be done with any DAW's stock plugins plus a handful of add-ons costing little money.

Times are wonderful, indeed.

Still don't get the point why people so against the subscription: Say, you cant own "for the life time" any of the Internets — you just pay for it, monthly. The Electricity — again, you can't own any Kraftwerke in any stretch of imagination — you just pay for it (за электричество). The same applies to R&D, Copyright, and such a bullshit who cares. Why I'm wrong?

 

Maybe for the mere cost of 20 - 60 euros per like?

At the end, there will be nothing left for your family ... if any.

While some ppl rent most things by throwing money in a bottomless hole, some others are buying gold coins and bullions.

I am in love with piracy and I would not be where I am as a professional producer/DJ without it. I encourage every young producer to pirate the bejeezus out of every DAW, plugin, program, extension available until you find what works for you. THEN and only then pay for those plugins and DAWS that you simply cannot live without IF they are reasonably priced and not bottomless greedy subscription models like Adobe, AVID etc. I found Studio One, Virtual DJ and a select collection of plugins to be indispensable to my career and workflow so now after years of learning what works for me I have paid for those items and binned all those other expensive DAWS and plugins I found useless to my setup. Money saved! I think this system is perfect and hope it never goes away.
