Pickups Output Test

    I have a Greg Bennett AV6 Electric guitar and the pick-ups are Duncan designed. I usually record dry guitars and process it with amp sims.
    The dry guitar itself is sounding a bit boomy. Is there any plugin to check the output volume of the pickups so that I can adjust the pickups accordingly? Or I should just set it by listening?

    Drop the height of the pickups to mid way, then adjust up or down to taste. Normally the problem if they are too high.
    As long as your level is not clipping on your soundcard or soundcard software you should be fine.
