Hey guys, I hope this is the right sub forum to post this.
I have a Peavy Rockmaster tube amp which I want to connect to a SSL2+ audio interface but I'm kinda hesitant as to which cables and from which output on the preamp am supposed to connect it.
What is a general rule when comes to this? Do I need a DI box? Will I be able to do it using just unbalanced cables?
    Thank you for your time!

Hi Firstly keep the cab hooked up always as tube amps need the speaker load !!!!!!! then XLR from MSDI into the XLR mic pre on the SSL any hum hit the ground lift and make sure your not clipping the SSL input I don't have this interface myself. I use a VU meter set at -18 in my DAW for headroom But if you don't want to go down that rabbit hole GREEN IS GOOD on the meters.
    Hope this helps

Output from Bal. OUT (XLR) to line input via balanced cable.
Bypass the interface preamp if possible. Adjust the volume with the guitar preamp.
