PCIe NVMe (Intel 750, Samsung 950) is there a real world benefit?

    Hi,

    I'm wondering if anyone here has one of the PCIe NVMe drives such as the Intel 750 and can give feedback on whether there is a real-world performance advantage compared to a regular SATA3 SSD?

    Is the SSD or the bus the limiting factor for max polyphony for sample streaming (orchestral music templates) and how much advantage is there for the NVMe drives?

    In particular, I'm wondering about a Kontakt polyphony test.
