Welcome to the world of Native Instruments. Re-install the previous version to see if it fixes the problem otherwise,
due a backup of everything you want to keep such as the Database Collection and playlists.

Uninstall any previous version and due a clean install.

FYI...I have not received any notice from NI about updates...

Sorry... Was thinking about a NI problem at the time. Have you tried an earlier version?

I don't use this product because of the way it handles audio & MIDI drivers.

Speaking of NI. I am using Traktor Scratch Pro 2.01 (R10169), also posted as Traktor Pro2.
This version has been very stable with all functions working. Much more freedom with MIDI and Audio assignments
    and excellent ASIO handling.

Personally this is one of two NI products I can vouch for. The other being Battery.

    Good luck...

No probs on you thinking NI,

I Don't know of an earlier version, the build I have is v2.0.71.

Talking of TRAKTOR PRO 2 I find version 2 very stable running along
side my Vestax VCI-100, Although mapping can be quite daunting
    at times.

Yeah sometime it can be frustrating understanding NI mapping because they leave so much open to you for creative potential. If you are using the VCI100MKII, there is a tsi file for Traktor if needed @
    http://help.vestax.co.jp/ja/usr_data/file/midi_map/VCI100MK2_Pro_tsi.zip

Have not seen a mapping demonstration. Just the ention of mapping to your needs between the two products....

    Aye, I Don't have VCI-100MKII I'm still happy with my Original MK1,
Choice of software I use is Virtual DJ v7.0.4 very stable apart from
    the lag/ramp-up when cutting/scratching.

Traktor is excellent when it comes to Cutting/Scratching.

ps. A great place for DJ controller mapping config files is DJ TechTools As you may know.
