Hi guys. I'm currently using I3 gen 7 for my pc.
    I'm planning to buy a laptop with i5 or i7 gen 11

Since my electricity is bad for recording the noise floor and hum is high, so i usually record with my old laptop and transfer it to my pc

How much improvement on cpu usage i get?

For example when im producing or mixing with 24 tracks plus i get about 70% of cpu usage, it get bloated usually bcs of reverbs, most reverb takes about 8-10% plus on my cpu

Will the new i5 or i7 gen 11 laptops reduce then cpu usage by 100% like i can get 20-40% of cpu usage with the same chain of fx?

    Thanks

Which CPU do you have exactly?

    Intel® Core™ i3 seventh generation processors

I can recommend this one with 3.9 GHz. Everything runs smoother and faster with it.

You, really should consider an Intel 12th Gen based laptop with either the i5 or i7 (preferably non-gaming workstation without bloatware).
Better system & battery performance over the Intel 11th Gen (desktop/laptop) CPUs.

You should also choose a configuration that has:
16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe or ideally
    32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe

    Just something to consider.
