The PC got the typically Gaming PC problems (useless High level GPU )

But the CPU and a Big SSD are great.

Best thing would be write them an E-mail and ask how loud the system is.

Tower servers with spinning rust can become loud. Workstations on the other hand tend be quiet.

With SSDs noise levels can almost be eliminated these days. Especially with a case designed to be low noise/quiet.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 63136 (Cores: 32)

64-Core OC Multi Core Mixed Speed 2149 Pts vs 5866 Pts +173%( similar 3 times in Userbench )

In multicore because of bad support of most Games and Desktops apps its clear that the 10900k is faster . (because it´s single core is slightly better)

But in really big workloads with support of 32 cores the 3970x is nearly 3 time the speed of the 10900k

Clearly it depends here on the DAW you'll use.
Many works with 16 cores and more so far .
