I would just like to report that if you are thinking about copying large amounts of Kontakt library files to your HFS+ drive, and you are using Paragon HFS+ in Windows to do this, think twice.

Copying files to your drive this way will result in misalignment of sectors in your drive, thus causing many problems. This seems to be a glitch in Paragon HFS+ for Windows (I was using the latest version (9.0.0)). If you copy too many files, you risk completely screwing up your hard drive.

I had to learn this the hard way. And as many of you hopefully know, installing hackintosh isn't easy.

A cautionary tale... don't do it. Do the transfers from within MAC, and you should have no troubles at all. And you should, because MAC can read NTFS; it just can't write to it.

You have been warned.

Do you mean it works well for a few files, but it screws the drive filesystem if you copy several Gb in a go???

Forget paragon it's well known for corrupting hard drives.

Better use macdrive with a journalised drive.
