Super short description: Granular reverb.

 

I brought it yesterday . It’s a good plugin for doing granular fx on drums , time stretched or completely changing the patch in to something new . My only problem with it ,it’s a cpu hog when changing parameters in the granulator the rate and size knob . Both work fine in freq mode by as soon as you change it to tempo based the cpu got nuts . I’ve spoke With others in the pa group that claim they don’t have this problem making videos to show . The one thing I noticed was a lot of people preset browse which it works fine with . Another video by a designer of the presets , when he was changing the rate and size knob I noticed he had paused the incoming grains so it wasn’t sampling anymore incoming audio . I tried and it worked without affecting cpu . But I wasn’t using it that way when it was affecting the cpu I was resampling audio grains while trying to change the rate and size in tempo mode . It’s very much like native instruments form , output portal

 

I love how Richard Devine has his name associated with all the plugins in the world but also 25 billion dollars worth of hardware.

 

He probably has more than one desk in his studio.

I "know" Richard and a few other guys in the IDM community. He's such a sponsor slut and endorse shitloads of brands/products. He was probably doing a "hey! I love these speakers"-ad combo while filming the SILO video. Two flies with one stone (or I'm just wrong and he was in the middle of setting up new speakers).

 

Nah. More like the ones they give monthly to help me drive the price down a bit more. Used mine on another plugin.
