I don't really care about it either, but it's the principles that matter, and I don't like the cynical way it has all been engineered. For me it seems like a total lack of respect towards loyal customers.

I must say this whole turning to speculation and "wait and see how you'll be screwed over" is a bit too much.
Personally, there are some sotware companies I use a lot but that doesn't mean I LOVE them. I don't need to love them as I see them as just another tool to get the job done.
Once the tool is broken I turn my back on it and get another one.

Now, I've learned not to trust ANY company. I keep my eyes wide open on all of them. The only thing I trust is my hardware as it's mine to own it 100% and do whatever the hell I want with it.

 

It's not speculation that they have already tipped the relationship balance in their own favor, which is their prerogative. As customers we must decide if it is acceptable or not, and in my case I will be supporting some new up and coming developers in the future. I will still love my plugins, but it is time to move on.

-you came at me with accusations insults that i made up PA is going to go subscription only,
-i posted the link including sharing the hypocrisy about it where KVR/reddit ++ banned users for asking if they should keep buying.
-you did not apologize or care it was true after insulting me anyway and instead continued coming at me about it but im not angry cause i am not even the one upset about subscription plans its you upset about people in the dark asking about it lol.

im sorry if what i said may of alarmed people to think about buying plugins but helping each other end users here is what i thought this site was for, not marketing plug ins or dodging opinions like politicians.

I deal with students all the time, maybe its best you head over to those threads and give them a piece of your mind if thats your thing…but ill say it again, if you leave doubt in customers minds expect nothing but speculation..

Btw i got flagged for conspiracy theories in this thread for talking about the comments made by people in a link i shared…im not any of these people and i think its crazy how protective people are here about plugin alliance’s business, especially when you consider sub sites ..

Your correct, i shared the links and those people complaining about it but they do have every right to speculate If they have no straight answers from a company that they had purchased all the plug-ins from and are left in the dark about future updates

 

When it happens i can assure you Dirk wont care, he gets his cash up front and on, the plugs will be up like photoshop, Dirk will be a legend cause not even waves can keep up with him now
