Ozone 6 Standalone Application Problem

    I captured a reference EQ and applied it to a mix. After I export the track sounds nothing like it should. Wtf.

    I haven't used OZone's EQ clone but I've tried it on Fabfilter Pro Q 2--which I consider superior to Ozone--and even that is pretty unreliable

    From what I can tell, it captures the peaks and valleys of the source material and applies that to your signal. This isn't even close to being applicable if you're trying to capture, say, a full song because the gain staging of different instruments in different parts of the spectrum, and the instruments themselves, come into play. In my experience the EQ clone is really only helpful if you have two versions of the same source, between which the only difference is the EQ curve.
