Ozone 5 funny problem - my saved presets load all weird?

I move between projects and save ozone presets in the preset browser.

I'm having a problem
when i click to load from the preset browser the presets load all weird (i think its just the EQ)
Any ideas what causing it

If i install the new version can I instal over the top?
or do i need to uninstal the last version?

 

dont know what to say, save your presets then uninstall --- install, load your presets, and see if it happens again. ....could be a bug or so

 

Ok quick update

I tried ozone 4 (was on there from before) same odd eq thing

so i tried it in Cubase 5 (not used since 2010)
The problem didnt happen in cubase 5

So its a Live 8 problem

I might try live 9

 

1. Check if you are using the latest Ozone
2. Check your graphics card's drivers (update them if need be)

 

Tried the latest version - same problem

Graphics card drivers? - how can this help?

 

Dont have those bugs in Live 8/9 on Win/Mac.


Maybe you should try an uninstall.

 

Setting the Live preferences "CPU- Plugin buffer size" to a number BELOW the current audio card "Audio buffer size" causes the presets to load in the odd way. (by default its set to "as audio buffer")

why change it:
prefs - CPU - "Plugin buffer size is set low"
to avoid Lives PDC fuck ups

Its all very technical. but at least i got some answers

Would this Audio card buffer size and Live plugin buffer size MISMATCH cause other plugins to fuck up or work wrong?

I cant have big weird crap out of time stuff when it is automated, because Ableton are too lazy to code proper PDC
