Oxe Music Software - Oxe FM Synth v1.3.4 (2016-04-19) VSTi

Oxe FM Synth is an open source VST 2.4 instrument plugin for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

- Multitimbral (16 MIDI channels);
- 8 operators (6 oscillators, 1 noise generator/limiter, 1 filter), all with envelope;

- frequency modulation half-matrix with self-modulation;

Quite good free synth my fav skin is the fm8 one

 

One weird thing that I can't figure out: where to download v1.3.5. There's only v1.3.4. You can get the source code for 1.3.5 from github but you have to compile it yourself and I'm not to fond of doing that.

Excellent FM synth. I never compared it to Dexed or FM7/8. Maybe I should. They don't mention loading DX7 sysex files. That's quite important to me [us] since there are heaps of DX7 patches around for download, generally in sysex format.

I changed it to 1.3.4 - yes you are right there is no 1.3.5 - let's take a look at the changelog there was only something changed in Linux!
