    Have you tried Overloud Support?

personally I use amplitude 3 on an old dell 610 laptop running XP, works brilliantly and no latency issues

I have all of them as I collect for NO PROFIT, it is merely to have a backup of the major releases since 1997. It is incredible to see from the early XP's launch and now how software was poorly coded. In 10 years software has really gotten much better in terms of no more sloppy coding as that was the problem with Windows Apps, developers that had no business making apps as apple was very restrictive of smaller developers on the mac as they did not want crappy software on their OS.

The big thing to do is GET A USB or FIREWIRE external interface period!.

Look for RME for lower latencies as their drivers are one of the best, also Presonus as well.

I use Asio4all when using the onboard soundcard when mixing without the interface being on. So I have no problems using it for just playback, as I use my firewire interface to record.

I suggest installing the latest Asio4all

In advanced setup make sure you are set to 512, 48khz and make sure "Resample is on"

Try some of those settings. However believe it or not the best guitar sim with the lowest latency for me since I use it live every weekend is Jamvox 2.0 ( the 3.0 was not a good update, the patches sound different when loading the 2.0 ones)

    OKay.

Several people have reported similar things with the latest vesrion (2.2.3), go back to the previous one (2.1.9), the issue is not present (i guess this is a bug induced by their new protection scheme). This issue is confirmed by overloud
