I cant install ANY TCD or TeamCubeadooby installer it always stop and a sign pop up saying an error occurred while trying to copy a file and itsa always the Vst3 or Vst2 dll.

This started to happen when i jumped ship and upgraded to Win 10 from Win 7 i never had that issue on Win 10 and it doesnt matter if i use my Ghost Spectre version or a "legit" microsoft version
There was some R2R installers from 2023 that did the same thing but i can install all R2R after 2023 and all Mocha and V.R and other group aswell
This problem only occure with TCD/TeamCubeadooby releases.


Is it me or does anyone else experienced the same thing? and doesn anyone has a solution to the problem?, as there are some plugins that TCD/TeamCubeadooby has that i really want that no other group has cracked.

Non-exhaustive list of solutions from those threads: For some just rebooting fixes it, some needed to close RivaTuner or some other resident program, some needed to install pending Windows updates, some had to (re)install C++ runtimes and reboot.

 

When I encountered such a problem with VR releases, I removed all files of the app and then made a clean installation. It worked then well.

Did you do a clean install of Win 10 or just upgraded through 7, I find the best is to always do a clean install on a formatted drive put in the drivers you need then use All-In-One Runtimes 2.5.0 then you can start installing your software. Personally I always start with a clean formatted drive, I never have issues when doing OS upgrades this way it may take a bit more time but worth it to avoid problems. BTW my main offline music PC still has 7 with all that I require so I never need to upgrade the software.

This problem despite what the error says, has really nothing to do with memory, which makes things harder to fix. It is a TCD issue since they make the installers and they are using known configurations for the installer that trigger this error.

If you have MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner installed, try closing it and see if it runs. I also had success installing any pending updates before using the installer. Worst case scenario, you can unpack the installer with innoextract or a similar tool for Inno installers.
