So, I like Audioz, but the problem is that most of the time when I go to download something, the link is dead. So, I'm just wondering other good sites out there like Audioz where I can download sample packs, VSTs, etc.

I also like Magesy, but the same issue there as with Audioz. Is that how all those sites are?

And a lot of the stuff I want I can't find torrents of.

SAiNT: I'm posting my response here, so you'd know that this problem will be resolved in the next version of Audioz, which i'm currently working on.
I hate dead links to, therefore it shouldn't continue like this.
but for now, you can always ask uploader to reupload.

That problem isn't exclusive to Audioz, that is a norm with the scene in general.

Something new comes out, uploaders post it for mass downloads, and they usually don't upload it again, because there isn't a demand for it.

For older releases, go for torrents.

P.S. Avoid any sites that require a paid membership.

 

You misunderstood me. I'm not asking members to tell me better sites than Audioz, just asking for suggestions to other great sites LIKE Audioz. ;)

There are a lot of sites around, but I've found out that the difference is, is that this site has the most comments ( not always related to the subject though..). But extremely reliable !
The best in my book !

Dead links can be reported. Then it's just a matter of keeping your fingers crossed.
Or PM the folks in question.

Audio scene is a daily effort if you want to get the things, maybe weekly.

And it's the same for all sites.

audioforum is very similar to AudioZ.
I think it's kind of new; I run across all these kinds of sites but only found out about it recently.
They have a kind of pointless registration system, but other than that it's the same.

 

proaudiozone.info have the same than Audioz but later, because they take every thing from Audioz
Since they have only one poster, you will not see new Indy crackers there.
At audioz the dynamic of users is generally positive and if something is wrong they/we find solution together (see Protools 10 as an example)

Audioz is one of the best place (if not THE best)

About dead links, send pm to original posters, and if no answer, use request section and send pm to other usual posters.
Someone will reup for you sure.

 

Links go down...it's just another part of file-sharing life and you're not going to find a site with open registrations that is beyond that. I can't for the life of me understand why Audioz isn't enough for you. Maybe you should spend less time searching for sites to get that one product that you're missing and direct that time and energy into making music. *yes*

 

i understand the op, i came here some years ago, thought ok there must be more, did my research and came to the conclusion, audioz is THE place to be!
or youu must be in real 'deep' and have access to some exclusive ftp server, but other than that audioz is all you need.

 

Sorry, I meant: Search for the release name, if it's not a private release, it will show up - I found a lot of stuff elsewhere which was down at Audioz.
