So i have the AiR 1.0.1 version. They say plugin is 32bit so you need to use with jbridge. I have 64bit Windows 10. I tried to use with jbridge but it said "0 file create". So i tried to uncheck the second option(Thorough file analysis(Checks if dll's are really VST plugin), it created file but file didn't work. I don't think the setup is broken but the because people with 32bit systems managed to run the vst. What can i do now? Also emi tg pack works perfectly. Just rs doesn't works.

 

I'm not on Windows but I took a quick look at old comments about it. The only thing I see worth mentioning from those comments, is the reminder to be doing stuff as administrator. Something like no file being created, like you mention; can often be a permissions issue.

Also, REAPER has deliberate 32 bit plugin support. You did not mention what DAW you are trying to use, but you might want to try using REAPER for your testing. Good luck, you may need it.

I've always really liked these old EMI plugins, but apart from Reaper and SO, I don't know any other DWAs that work with 32-bit plugins. I used this entire EMI series for a long time, but when I started bridging 32-bit plugins to 64-bit and having to run everything as an administrator, I really gave up.

 

I have the following old 32 bit DAWs installed:

1. Presonus - Studio One 2 Professional v2.6.5 build 30360 - 32 Bit
2. Image Line - FL Studio v11.1.1 - 32 Bit

I have installed many old 32 bit software synthesizers there and am very happy with them.
They run smoothly alongside the modern DAW's!
You just have to rename an installation folder and then tell the DAW where the data is stored.

Fl studio 21

 

I don't have problem with 32 bit plugins but specifically with emi rs

 

I'm using Fl Studio 21. But don't think problem is my DAW either. I have other 32 bit plugins and emi tg Series works Fine but just rs does not work. I also tried use with jbridge and bluecat patchwork but both gave me error. Fl studio sees the dll file but gives error when i try to open it. Also patchwork says "Please check that this is compatible Intel VST plugin". Maybe the problem architecture. I have AMD 1500x, maybe plugin just works well with intel cpus but does not compatible with my cpu

 

Maybe the installation is just broken?

I've just tested this version and it runs flawlessly with Reaper, WiN, Intel. You do not have the 32bit version of PluginDoctor by any chance (see audioz.download)? This way you could test whether it works on your machine.

There are comments about this plugin from other people who never got it to work. But obviously,from above replies, you should be able to get this one working. The first thing I would do, because of some of what you are describing about BlueCat Patchwork error message, etc ; I would try re-downloading the plugin and reinstalling the new copy cleanly. File corruption used to be a real, and common thing.

Or try REAPER. I used it to solve issue with some problem 32bit plugins on Mac. This way you know the plugin is installed correctly, and your operating system sees it. Also, people mentioned some DAWs blacklisting it (Cubase). I keep REAPER around just for testing purposes.

 

Maybe, I don't know. But I tried every site(audioz, rutracker etc.) all of them have the same file. I'm using AMD cpu and probably my problem is cpu. I already have 32bit versions of EMI TG Series. EMI TG 32 bit series is working but EMI RS doesn't work. They both from same brand and both from AiR. I even runned liquid mix perfectly. Liquid mix is really hard to run it. But rs124 is not working. Installed, unistalled, restarted, downloaded from other sites, reinstalled but nothing worked for me. I think problem is vst not works in amd architecture. I also had problem with my uad card. It was amd thing. At least they solved. I'm not happy with my AMD ((

I tried many times to uninstall and reinstalled. I also restarted my pc every time I unistalled. Nothing changed. I also downloaded from different sites but didn't worked for me. I'm gonna try reaper. I think problem is my cpu.

 

During installation you can click on Portable, this way all files are "installed" into one folder and it's easy to remove it completely - just in case.

Maybe a missing .dll in System32 and/or SysWOW64. Are you using Windows 10 N ? Is Media Feature Pack and the old .NET 3.5 Framework installed?

Also, take a look at the properties and make sure the RS124.dll is unblocked (This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer.) before bridging.

I'm pretty sure it's not your CPU. I had the exact same problem and it was a missing driver in System32/SysWOW64. I just don't remember if it was a driver from Media Feature Pack or .NET 3.5 Framework...
