Hi all!
i was wondering if there is an organized per instrument type (e.g. Bass, Pads, Keys etc) library for Roland D-50 vsti that you could point me to.
Although i like hoy this synth sounds i find it hard to use in my tracks because searching for the right preset is taunting.
I'd rather spend my time trying to compose music than programming presets myself!

 

@Vampiretna There is none that I am aware of but I am sure that someone out there must have done exactly what you are looking for. Here is the structure of the patches. You can rename all the patches using a different name structure and abbreviations like BA for bass, PD for pads etc.

 

Another option is to use a librarian editr, load the original lbary, edit all the patches and sens to D 50 as sysex.

Yes; the only way to reorganize patches into groups is to reload them and create a .sysex of 64 patches, or to create the order in a Librarian.
