I'm Lookin, well askin Everyone's opinion on their Best Orchestra Sounds.
What is the best Packs, or banks out there that have good orch. sounds in your eyes.
I'm tired all the same old sounds..lol.

Spitfire is great but Lots of gigs and covers so many instruments (strings, drums, brass, flute, and so on...).
For Solo strings, I love embertone (blakus cello & Friedlander Violin.
All are Kontakt libraries
Can you be more specific: Which instruments, and which media (Kontakt, vst, ...)

The simple thruth is sound is personal and no pack have all the best sounds.
I spend a lot of time comparing and choping the libs because its no easy answer.
Its always good to answer some questions when we make a critic, só whats important in a sound
1 acoustics... Spittfire and cinesamples
2 articulation, key switch... Its insane because each one have articulations tha other do not have
3 sound itself...for what genre?
4 expressiveness? Recently I bought a breath controller and I know tha many libs are a deception in this área, but You must say whats kilowatt and controller You will use...
5 the libs do not sound different... If You think that they sound the same use any right? The notion of timbre exist when You learn how an orchestral must sound and how You wants it sounds. The first itts tecnical, its like to study history and practicing sports. The other its related to your personality that brokes the tecnical rules...
Só, the best thing is to download and compare, and this adquire taste will give You a constructed and solid musical personality...só rare in a world od borowed identidys

Try Spitfire Audio products, those are good for almost every situation.
Otherwise Orchestral Tools (BWW and some members of The range)

 

Spitfire is great. That 8dio stuff aint bad either

 

you just can not beat a real orchestra, but your home studio space maybe an issue
