im after the Latest openGL download for Windows 10 64bit online, but i keep getting dodgy downloads
Anbody know of a link to legit copy please?

Finding out the OpenGL version
While you can find out the DirectX version via dxdiag, the installed OpenGL version is not always immediately obvious. With GLview (OpenGL Extension Viewer) this is also possible. Under Tasks -> Report you can see under "Core features" which version is installed and which functions are supported to what extent.

Dont you think ive already tryed your google searches! GL view says i have an old version 1.1

 

It's part of the driver and the OS and depends on the GPU. There is no separate download.

 

it is part of the video drivers, at some point there was a split so you were more likely to get opengl drivers with drivers geared towards professional use rather than gaming, so depending on your card you might need to look for alternate driver packages

 

Im using my old lappy at the mo, so i know im limited! I get some vst2/3 showing up black parts in the display. So i think open GL probs!

 

There is something like an OpenGL emulator (up to 3.3) for ARM platforms:

Not sure if it works with x86 and whether version 3.3 is enough for you, but maybe you could try it. Else you're unfortunately out of luck I guess.

 

If it's intel graphics their opengl drivers have consistantly sucked since forever, other than an eGPU you'll just have to try different versions of the drivers and see if you get lucky.

 

What about Vulkan drivers backwards compatibility?
