Hello all,

I'm composing, and I have no clue about mixing/mastering I don't even know the difference.

I'm looking for some services online to mix and master my project(s). ( 1-15 tracks - no vocals - most of them orchestral - kind of dramatic/epic music for movie trailer/teaser )

Does anyone here have used such a service online to mix/master their project,

Some feedback and website reference will be much appreciate.

To answer with more accuracy, budget & expectations (if it'll be a professional mix or an amateur one, and it looks like we're talking about the 2nd here) are key, I'd suggest to stay away from online mastering since it's only about applying a weighting curve EQ to give it a boost in the low and high end regions of the spectrum and probably some highs widening... Nothing more most of the times. If you, however, want to make a truly professional mix, or you just don't care about paying more, there are plenty of professionals who mix and master your productions for a variety of prices.

I'm always skeptical of online mastering services. I feel like they just put an instance of Ozone on the track, load a preset and tweak a few knobs here and there and charge me for 37 seconds of their time.

That's not all of them of course...

If you're doing amateur composing, I suggest you take care of that yourself.

Here is a free specialist audio mastering service that is said to fatten up your mix. Once you have selected your mix enhancements(7mins max length)and so on, you then enter you email address and upload your mix. Once Uploaded it will take a few minutes, depending on how busy the server is and then you will receive an email with a download link to your mastered mix (a 128kbps Mp3). If you want a file mastered at a higher resolution, you can obtain one by paying £2.29 per master.

Check this out. A very good list of mastering services - you can choose by characteristics, country etc. I think there's about 300-400 studios

I agree with the comments about being cautious about using online mastering services. But, the real ones to be careful of are AUTOMATED online mastering services. These are mostly just super cheap, crank your volume up to 11 and call it good systems.
But many "online mastering studios" are actually real mastering studios that simply allow you to send in your material online with all the work being done exactly the same as if you brought it there in person. But, as was noted by @zero-frag there's always the fear that it's just someone sitting in his bedroom applying a master plug-in preset (which he probably pirated) and charging you for it.
Just like with any other service purchase, it pays to do your homework. Reviews don't always tell the whole picture either, as anyone who's bought anything from Amazon can attest to. Make sure they have samples to listen to. Do they offer you a free mastering sample of your own music? Do they list some of the artists they've worked with? How long have they been in business? What is their mastering system or method? Do they do other audio services as well, such as editing, mixing, recording, etc.? You ask a few questions and you'll get a good feel for how they are.
I've been a mastering engineer for nearly 20 years for Crazy Daisy Mastering. We were doing "online audio mastering" before most people even knew it was possible. In my experience over the years since online mastering became a thing, I've learned from my clients that the most telltale way to know if an online mastering studio is legit is to simply call them up. If they answer, or if you leave a message and they call back in a reasonable period of time, that's a good sign. I'm still amazed at the number of people I pick up as clients simply because I was the first place they called to actually answer the phone. I always keep the studio phone right next to me while I'm working on projects for this very reason.
And back to the original post, an experienced audio engineer used to working by online correspondence will be able to help you with both mixing and mastering. Same questions apply for mixing as for mastering when you begin your search for someone to help you.
