I've moved my STEAM folder to another HDD and now I'm getting this error:

The STEAM folder does not have write permission. Try running as administrator
    Omnisphere Error 1.png
This is followed by a second error

    STEAM folder is not writable.

I've tried to check everything possible in Security tab but without any form of success. I'm also sure I'm not the first one who encountered this error, so.. can anybody help me?

    Thank you.

Maybe some more information would help

    Like legal or not
    Stand alone or in DAW
    What DAW are you using

But normally a Run as Admin should fix this problem (stand Alone or DAW)

"I had this on Win 7 when I first installed. On Win , it was a matter of locating the main folder and checking the permissions with the option of doing this for all sub folders. I don't know how you do it on Mac, but on Win it was a matter of right clicking on the folder and selecting Properties. After I did, no further problems like this."
