Recently, I successfully installed Omnisphere 2.6 (The pirate) to my MAC. If I want to update to the latest version (Currently 2.8). Should I install the updates released so far in order (ex: First install the 2.7, then 2.71, etc...), or is it enough if I install only the latest one (2.8) and follow step 6(Patch) again?

After the initial 2.0 there were some landmarks along the way. You need to install 2.8 over the 2.0 first to be able to eventually install the latest version v2.8.4d.

So you are saying I should install v2.8.0d first and then 2.8.4d? Is this correct?

 

There is an updated version v2.8.1c. You should install this first before proceeding to the latest v2.8.4d. Spectrasonics updates are a horror? Even for legid users! It consists of patch, content and software updates.
If you want to make sure there is also a torrent going around with the latest 2.8 full version. From there you can easily update to v2.8.4d.

 

Omnisphere 2.6 is actually working successfully. I'm just trying to figure out how and in what order I should install the updates without losing what I have because, as you said, it's a "horror" for someone who doesn't know how to do it.
