I originally installed it on my hard drive but moved it over to my ssd and they both are having really long loading times for any preset.

    My CPU is I7-8700k
    Ram: 16gb

For me it takes 5 seconds to load Omnisphere Stand-Alone & 10 seconds as a VST in FL Studio, but the patches all seem to load from <1 second to <3 seconds.
I think you should check and post your Omni info here, and any other info: Using as Stand-Alone vs. DAW speeds, which DAW, etc...
Omni info can be seen any time by clicking the Spectrasonics logo on the right, and more info once that opens by clicking "Diagnostics" on the left side. Post that stuff here and fingers crossed someone will be able to help.
Here is my info as example:
    Omnisphere Standalone 1.0.1c
    Omnisphere VSTi

    Omnisphere Software : 2.5.1d 64 bit
    Omnisphere Soundsources v2.5.0c
    Omnisphere Patches v2.5.2c
    Moog Tribute Patches v1.4d

    Keyscape Soundsources v1.0.2
    Keyscape Patches v1.3c
    Keyscape Creative Patches v1.1c
    ===========
Number of factory soundsources = 5,305
Total size of factory soundsource DBs = 59,857,926,155
Nuber of factory patches = 9,442
Total size of factory patch DBs = 309,347,842

    STEAM folder is G:\DawLib\ Specrasonics\STEAM
Plugin DLL file path is C:\64vst\Spectrasonics\Omnisphere.dll

I guess you had to both patch it and write in the registration code. That is your problem you have to do the update one more time then you should only patch it and not be forced to write in the registration code. Then your problem is solved

What @DoubleTake said sounds about right, loading is mostly instant. Try and avoid Keyscape patches! Often updates "break" Omnisphere, which can include making browsing / loading sluggish or broken or w/e. Pot luck, rly. (Prolly depends on how well-fuelled Spectrasonics' HQ has been by Eric Persing's liposuction fat, that month =) I guess maybe make sure ya got the latest version? After one update Omni took ~30s to load from ssd :O

so you have tested the Omniphere plugin in another DAW where it worked as it should? By the way you never answered the question if you had to write in the registration code after you patched the plugin

I am not sure about turning up memory or cpu usage. Of course you can check the meters in FL Studio to see if anything is going high, but also maybe using Windows Performance Monitor... but with your CPU & RAM I can't believe that is the issue.

I did notice from your Omni info that I'd forgotten to do the last Library Patch Update 2.5.2d (mine was 2.5.2c).
I did that and checked again in Fl Studio but it seems to load patches fine (fast).
I was guessing you were using Stand-Alone and found it loaded patches fine when you said "...slow only in Fl Studio". Any other DAW you could check it in, as @Daskeladden asked?
( And also @Daskeladden asked about writing in your registration code...

ALSO, I found this from a thread back in May .. @TonyG postyed a link about Omni performance issues:

If you use Studio one v4 disable "dpi mode",for me it solved the problem immediately.(Thanks again @Daskeladden )

Hi, i'm having a similar problem, I would appreciate if someone could help me.

I've downloaded Keyscape and after opening Omnisphere, it became really, really slow. My FL freezes for 5~15 secs in every preset change. Everything was working perfeclty fine before Keyscape, so I moved its folder away, but it didn't fixed the problem. I also tried to install a previous version, but no success either. Omnisphere still works fine in Ableton and standalone.

    I'm running Windows 10 x64 and FL 20.0.5.

If ya still got Keyscape moved somewhere else, try hitting the refresh button (like a circle w/ circular arrow in browser) to update everything. Keyscape patches do take a while (few secs =) to load sometimes, even from SSD (2-8Gb). If that fails, try updating to latest version of all (Keyscape / Omni / Soundsources / patches etcs) I know (at least) one update of Omni broke everything.

are you running the 64 bit version of Fl Studio and the 64 bit version of Omnisphere? Be sure you are not scanning both the 32bit and 64bit plugin into the FL studio. And did you save Keyscape inside the Steam folder which was working good before you "installed" Keyscape? One more thing have you tried a clean reinstall of FL Studio, deleting all configuration files and so on. Maybe you have to wait for the FL 20.1.1 update

By the way is all you keyscape and omnisphere software updated?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm running 64 bit version of both. I did save Keyscape in the same folder, but i've removed from there to try fix the issue. Everything is up to date, exactly like yours.

So, after rebooting my PC, looks like it's back normal... But now I'm afraid to install Keyscape again...

Had that problem when I was running Studio One with compatibility mode on. Not a single problem since I turned it off.

Update: I maganed to get both Keyscape and Omnisphere working normally. The following steps solved the preset lag problem:

1 - Delete the dll from your VST folder, and then install again. 2 - Patch the dll with the keygen. 3- Open the vst in FL and paste the serial.

If you have Keyscape, first patch it, close it and then patch Omnisphere.

You have to follow the steps because if you don't, the VST will close during the serial input, and you'll need to do everything again in order to get both working.

Keyscape cannot be patched, you have to use pre-patched. So I'm surprised you managed to patch it, does the Keyscape plugin work as standalone plugin? I'm also surprised you got rid of the lagging without doing the patch one more time after "paste the serial" thing. Like I mentioned the lagging stops (for me) if you first patch Omnisphere and paste the serial. Then update Omnisphere one more time and patch it without paste of the serial. It seems like many have this problem especially in FL Studio, I use Ableton at the moment....

Check the PCI Slot, maybe you installed SSD on wrong PCI slot!
Another one is try to take out the Memory RAM's and take out the power from computer(unplug the power, take the ram's out and press the start button)
then put them on, maybe it works!

Hi, not sure about the standalone as I didn't even tried to run it.

it seems there are two ways to patch it. I did the way I mentioned above, and the lag went away in FL Studio and Ableton. I can open Keyscape and Omnisphere at the same time and nothing weird happens.
