Hi guys I'm new to the audio community and music production. I downloaded a crack version of Omnisphere 2.5 and patched it but when I tried to generate the keygen for authorisation the plug-in opened up with a prompt saying

"STEAM Folder not found. Would you like to locate it?"

I know it is a common problem most people face but I have the steam folder which is about 71GBs and more but when I locate it manually it still doesn't work.

Omnisphere tells me its not a valid STEAM file. I tried making an alias and everything.
Is this more of a system problem. I'm running a Mac with macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and my DAW is Logic Pro 10.1.0

What do I do? I'm in a mess. Please help me out.

 

You just have to mount the ISO and move the Spectrasonic to youre desired location. External HDD or Local. Don't forget to give permission to that folder.
Ten Install Omnisphere, then copy from youre plugin folder the Components and Vst to where you open youre keygen on to youre Desktop or in youre VM, then patch them and then move the plugins back into their respective folders.

Open Omnisphere from youre application folder and copy the Challenge Code and generate youre response code from the keygen.
Run the all the updaters. When done open Omnisphere and it will ask you for the Spectrasonic location, just point to it and there you Go!

I did everything and have successfully installed Omnisphere but when I open It in my DAW it keeps asking to me locate the STEAM file and I direct it to the folder but it keeps prompting that its not a valid STEAM file.I can open the plugin but it has no library and basically creates no sound.

 

Also
Cannot load Multi data because it is corrupted (either from song or from multi file ''). Try loading another Multi from the Multi browser.

I get this prompt when Omnisphere opens. is this STEAM folder related or should I be worried about something else too?

I'm really desperate for some help.

 

Have you given permission to youre STEAM folder? Use BatchMod.app
Open Omnisphere from youre application folder and not youre DAW then point to youre Steam Folder.

 

I couldn't access it as admin so I tried it from root user but its still not accessible. Should I deactivate SIP??
I'm a little cautious about it.

Check youre app folder or from lauchpad

 

I don't have Omnisphere there. I do have trillion though.

 

Check our sister site and check for Spctr. Omn Complete download it and folow the Inst. instructions first before installing.
This will work 100% without issues.
