Hey Guys,

I have yet to give Omnisphere a try. I have Omnisphere v2.6.3c
I was wondering if I can get away with installing it sans the massive library that comes with it?

I have a handful of Omnisphere presets/banks I'd like to try (5 or 6) and that's it. Is there a guide for those of us who opted not to download the massive library?

You should bear in mind that many, if not most, third party libaries use the factory Omnisphere soundsources in their patches. So, deleting it will render a bunch of those patches unusable.

 

I wouldn't be deleting it, I just never got around to downloading it. I just have the app only

But as you just pointed out, it might be required for others to function. Kind of forces my hand, doesn't it!
