am sorry am new to mac here how do i open the keygen on mac !! i tried wine ,winebottler, mono nothing works please help am losing my mind

Big Sur, I have no idea. Sorry.
There was an updated KG runner for Catalina, which also runs via Wine, but it sounds like the fault will lay with Big Sur and its policing.
Other than that, run your keygens on a VM like Parallels, running W7 or W10.

 

do i have to run it on my macbook ? i have a pc is there a way i can use my pc or it has to run through the macbook

I would try this, yes. It used to work when I did it years ago, but I can't say if it does nowadays with a bang up-to-date macOS!

For Catalina? And you can't seem to run anything Wine anyway?

i replied to you, in another thread. big sur is more of a pain than catalina... consider setting all this stuff up on mojave if possible, then updating to big sur over it if you must. or stick with mojave or catalina if possible, if you really want to run all the k'd stuff.

use crossover version for catalina (or newer, for big sur) to run a exe key gen on mac, as the keygen apps don't usually work anymore

I've tried to fix this glitch with omnisphere for ever the " STEAM doesn't have writing permission" im also pretty new to mac so im confused as hell. is there anyway i can discord screen share or something for u to help me please! lmk asap

Hello there!

Sorry for the necro but I got stuck at STEP 6(b). When launching Omnisphere from Applications folder I'm getting the following error:

Error loading Omnishpere AU plugin
The Omnishphere.component plugin exists at the correct location but cannot be loaded.

Where did I go wrong?. I made sure to follow each step accurately but alas, I must have missed something. Please, help me out.

I'm on Catalina 10.15.7. Used Parallels to run the keygen and patch Omnishpere.component and Omnisphere.vst. Both operations were successful according to the keygen.

Restarted the system. Now it says it's unable to access the plugin folder... Weird. I'm sure I told BatChmod to set proper rights to STEAM folder and everything in it..

Step 7 also fails because "STEAM folder not found".. But it's right there! What on earth is going on?? Here, I attached a screenshot.

It doesn't matter what I do in BatChmod. No matter what rights/owner/groups are set the folder will be missing and inaccessible. Any ideas?. Because I got none.

I searched the forum hoping to find a working solution but alas, nothing works. I checked properties of the Spectrasonics folder and there's me, admin and everyone - all have read and write permissions. Yet the app itself says it cannot access it.

I know my way on Windows system but Mac is very alien to me. If anybody can help - please, I beg you.
