Hey guys so I recently installed omni 2 on my MacBook Pro. everything went fine up until the point of patching and activating it. although I followed all steps the keygen fails to patch the dll file in order for omni to work. if somebody can, will you help me through team viewer please thanks.

 

You surely tried to patch the dll file when your daw was running.
Patch it before using the daw.

 

yo just to make sure; for apple, I just have to double click the iso files to mount them correctly,Right?

 

Sorry,I don't know how it works on Mac.
But can you open Omnisphere in your DAW(Logic,Cubase...) ?
If not,just install omnisphere in first step.
If yes,you just have to authorize Omnisphere.So close your DAW now.

To authorize it,you have to patch the ".dll" file in the " Application or Program(I don't know Mac OS)/Spectrasonics/Omnisphere" and patch the ".dll" file in your VST or AU or AAX folder of your DAW too.
I'm not sure it's a ".dll" file in your vst folder,because you're on Mac.But patch this file.

Then open Omnisphere in your DAW and generate a licence with the challenge/response key.

That's it ! Close omnisphere,re-open a new Omnisphere and it normally works.
