Hey guys I managed to follow all instructions to install omnispher 2 but having troubles with the patch. Also its telling me Installion not completed properly Omnisphere patch data needs to be upgraded to version 2....if anybody can help Thank You

 

Put ur dll file for omni somewhere easy to find like ur desktop after instal. Run the patch part again , overwrite with new one. Close ur daw of choice after patching it with serial code.Put new patched dll in ur vst location and open ur daw and rescan it. It should work

 

U might need all the updates as well.. but I'm sure there are more people here that will help u as well.. I'm away at the moment. Like what daw u using and OP etc....

Omnisphere Software Update v2.3.2f.exe

These are the newest updates and can be found on most newgroups or torrents. Make sure to get all the above to make it work properly

 

is that all i need to update from version 1?if not what do i need? also will old project sill open with omni v1 patches

 

no. the updates listed were the latest for omnisphere 2. there are no more updates for omnisphere 1. you need to do a clean install.

 

Yes make sure to do a fresh install of Omnisphere 2 before applying these patches. Do you have the 55 gig of install files (8 dvds) to install Omni 2? If not PM me and I will send you links to the newsgroups where you can get them. I am not 100% sure if older projects will open from Omni 1 but if that's the case just move on to Omni 2 and add something else to the track

hey broski if I give u my team viewer you think you can do it for me its getting very frustrating because key gen keeps failing to patch the dll file and I keep getting this message everytime I try to open Omnisphere on logic( ps I got all 50 plus gigs and iso files mounted so u don't have to wait for those steps)

Blazin, the latest Omnisphere Software Update is NOT v.2.3.2f.exe, it is v.2.3.2h.exe.

 

Blaze if you are trying to patch the dll while Omnisphere is open in Logic(or any other DAW) you will get a message that the patch failed. You need to close Omnisphere and only then patch the dll. By the way the same goes for almost every vst.

ok but on the steps it says patch the dll through the keygen and when I attempt it says it fails

Im on Windows 7 and have successfully installed Omnisphere 2 8 times for my self and others. I take the long approach installing and authorizing after each subsequent update. In other words, I do not go from version 2.0 to 2.3.2h. I make sure that i install every available update for both the library and software in pertinent order. In order to patch the .dll I explained that it is necessary to close Omnisphere. If it is open in the DAW, the patch would not work. After the patch I proceed to copy and paste the codes. I have noticed that sometimes it is necessary to do it more than once. You must make sure that the WHOLE code is being copied and paste. And that no extra space is being added by you at the beginning or end of code. Also there was a Key Generator that was not working properly. I have 3 different KG's for Spectrasonics and when one does not work I use the other.
